The room I stayed in at Mingtown Suzhou Youth Hostel was so cozy and peaceful. I loved the quiet private room with a seating area, perfect for relaxing. The air conditioning kept me cool, and having a kettle in the room was a nice touch. The private bathroom was also a big plus!
Personally, I found the soundproofing in the suite lacking. But hey, that's just me.

I chose Mingtown Suzhou Youth solely for its convenient location near the Lion's Grove Garden, which I wanted to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the laundry services available to guests. This feature was convenient and made my stay even more enjoyable. the free Wi-Fi in the lobby bar was a great perk.
Difficult to initially find. Busy and shy staff.

For the price we paid, Mingtown Suzhou Youth was a great value. The room was small but comfortable and had a local flair to it. The location was fantastic, right by the canal and in the heart of the city. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home.
The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement, perhaps by offering more variety or adding some healthier options.

Amazing location! The hostel is situated in a vibrant street with lots of stores and food options. The staff was friendly and always had a smile on their faces. The room was clean and spacious, and we even had towels provided. The breakfast served was delicious and filling.
The food quality was not great, and the serving times were inconsistent. The walls in the room were thin, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
